My experience at the Life In The Spirit Seminar

My name is Louis Ting, I’m 15 years old. I study at ST.JOSEPH Secondary School. I want to share my experience during this Life In The Spirit (LSS) on 13-15 June2008.The first night ,after registration we have Praise& Worship, the Emmaus community lead us to Praise & Worship God. We sing together, but most of us feel fear & shy on the first night. At 10.15pm closing & we have supper; our Sunday teacher had prepared food & drinks for all of use. That night lot of us can’t sleep, because we do not get used of the environment.

The next morning, me & some of my friend bath with cold water without water heater early in the morning. After that, we have breakfast then praise& worship. This time all of us sing happily & clap our hands together. There also have lot of talks & Activity. At 4.30pm we have confession, all of us confess to our Rev. Fr. Vincent Chin, than we go for counseling. After counseling I feel that the counselor really help me in all my difficulty. On that night we have inner healing prayers, many of cry that night because we really ask for God healing. During the inner healing teacher also pray for us, than I can see that all of us fall on the ground. I can feel that the Holy Spirit come to me, went I was on the ground I also feel very hot but that kind of hot can’t make me sweat. This is the most interesting part in this (LSS). After inner healing, we also have supper & left a few people can’t sleep.

The second morning which is our last day, we also have praise & worship, with some talk until 1.00pm. Immediately have our lunch, we learn how to sing tongue. Follow by inner healing, this time only left a few people cry. One of our friends after he fall on ground he could not stand up. All of use prays for him including teachers, when we all most finish our Rosary he feel batter. Then we have taking group photo, after that we heaving a group play presentation by use. We divide into 4 groups; I & my group members only prepare for the costume, but we did not practice for the play we only go true in only. Luckily we presentation is ok, after all the group finish present. All of use attends Mass at Church, the Mass end at 6.30pm.Then we went to AVA room waiting for the result. Finally all the group won the prize. All of use went home happily. I will not forget this wonderful experience.
