On Monday, August 11, 2008 3:31 PM, Kimberly who missed the last Gathering sent an email::

Heylows. Erm Uncle, are we still going to have any gatherings after the last Sunday School session? Kim .

Dear Kimberly, Cindy and all, YES. According to uncle V, we will have one on Sunday Morning sometimes in September - we'll pray specially for your exams. Uncle Michael

Well, due to the Food Fair and other reasons, the September gathering did not materialize…

PMR Exams was from 13th Monday to 17th Friday of October 2008….

Some find it easy, some find it hard, some cannot put it away and still worry about it….

Today’s gathering saw 2 new faces Anselina Crystal Binti Cosmas,

   and Felicia Anak Oder

both friends of Joanne Lim, Form 3 St Teresa’s School. Felicia is baptized and confirmed while Crystal has not been baptized. They are invited to join FFC next year.

Uncle V:                 OK LET’S START, How’s PMR?

Response:              Easy… Hard… Cannot forget…

Uncle V:                 You cannot undo the past, what is past is past. You have to look forward.

Uncle Michael:       OK, PMR is over, do you know that Uncle Harry sitting at the back there went to Mass every day and pray for you during PMR? Do you know that Uncle Michael went to Church to pray for you everyday?... It is time to pray for other people, do pray for people sitting for Form 5 and Form 6 Exams… Praying for other people is good, because we get double blessings, first God will answer your prayer on the persons you prayed for, and God will bless you because of your generous heart….

Uncle V had some good news to announce:

A.           8-9-10 November 2008 (Saturday, Sunday Monday) a trip to Sri Aman by bus to join the priests to outstations, they can only accommodate 8 youths, those interested need to contact Uncle V within these few days.

F.            SPY08 formed (St Peter’s Youth) – those interested to inform Uncle V.

G.           How can you help? – Tell uncle V in which areas can you help.

Uncle V tells of he saw at healing session at Mt Hosanna…

Fr Richard Khoo taking “things” out of a person and throws them in a bucket…

Uncle Michael shares what he saw at healing sessions at Mt Hosanna…

Fr Richard Khoo “operates” on person just like in Normah Hospital, but this is spiritual surgery…

One time an “inset” flew out of the mouth of a person, the helpers rushed to the windows to close the windows so that the “insect” won’t escape, but they did not manage to catch it! Aunty Eileen could see the healing hand of Fr Khoo changed to that of Jesus’

Another time, we saw a man piggybacked his wife (presumed) up the Jacob’s ladder to reach the Chapels of Mt Hosanna, she was unable to walk for many years, after Fr Khoo prayed over her, he asked her to walk alone the aisle of the Church, she did! And she actually walked down the 100-steps Jacob’s ladder, the man told us it was “unbelievable” that she could walk on her on!

As for the activities coming up, Uncle Michael said that Christmas Caroling is one of the most enjoyable activities, you will have  good memories of it as you bring good news to people, sharing Christmas joy.

So, what are going to do during the long holidays?

Nothing, sleep, play, go holidays…

I work! Clarissa exclaimed!

Ya? Where?

At a pet shop.

Oh, uncle didn’t know there is a pet shop around, where?

Some where at Satok.

Oh, Ok, how much they pay you? RM20 a day?

No, RM10 a day from 10am to 5pm….

After the gathering we had a simple lunch at Hai Pa Wang restaurant nearby,

Betty, mother of Alyssa Goh joined us for the lunch, she also decided to bring the family to the advent pilgrimage to Mt Hosanna on 22-23 November, wonderful, this Christmas is going to be very memorable for many people…. What she wants is healthy activities for the children, well this is one healthy activity for the children and their family and as a follow-up of the LSS, part of their Faith formation.

By coincidence we met Fr Adriana Tiong who is also at the restaurant have lunch with some teachers.

Well young people, our next youth gathering will be a very special one – in the Kampung at Sri Aman!

See you there.

Uncle Michael
