Q. Isn’t Faith alone sufficient for salvation?

We are indeed justified by faith, but that faith is to be a living faith ... one that will prompt us to good works and find its expression in them. St. Paul exhorts us, “Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart” (Gal. 6,9) ... James, too, stresses the importance of good works that stem from faith ─ “Faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead” (James 2,17).
