Q. Can anyone become a Catholic?

Yes, membership of the Catholic Church is open to all who are wiling to conform to Catholic teaching … neither age, illness, race, colour, nor former membership of any religion or society can prevent a person from becoming a Catholic.  The very name Catholic (i.e. universal) means that it is intended for everyone … a proper understanding of the Faith is, however, required before a person can become a Catholic.  A priest will be happy to explain the Faith to anyone.

One may also receive information about the Catholic Faith without any obligation whatsoever by writing to:  BISHOP’S HOUSE, RELIGIOUS  CORRESPONDENCE   COURSE, P.O.BOX 319, JOHOR BAHRU, JOHOR, MALAYSIA.
