History
OF EOC (Evening of CAROL)
Wonder how EOC started?
Her is the
STORY…
In the Year 2007,
Heavenly Melody Choir suggested to Fr. Simon
that they would like to organize a Christmas Prayer Concert,
Fr Simon suggested that since HM and CHOICE were both under the Archdiocesan
Commission for Mission & Human Development, they could combine to stage the
Christmas Concert… so EOC ("An Evening of Carol") was born with CHOICE
& HM.
Thus the first EOC was held at Chapel of
Mother Mary Stutong.
Following years Year 2008 & 2009, the Chinese
Children Liturgy of the St.Joseph's Cathedral joined
in the production of EOC.
This year, 2011, the organizers also invited the
Sunset Mass Choir of Blessed Sacrament Church (BDC) as Guest Performers.
So, It is going to
be a GREAT CONVERT this year.
Looking forward,
We may invite more groups to jointly
stage the Concert
i.e Holy Trinity Kenyalang’s Sunday School,
BDC 's Sunday School...
… and not forgetting
our very own St.Peter FFC Sunday School’s
Children to play some sketch or dance J
