Millie, 42 years has three children all girls aged 6 (Nashional), 17 (Mishereen), 20 (Nina) years old. The oldest girl is studying to be a nurse in a private college in KL and two in Kuching – second girl in Form 5 and the youngest girl is in kindergarten.

Her husband works in the cleaning service industry and earns about RM700 per month.

They are staying at the squatter colony with no electricity next to the Sg Apong market close to the river bank.

Martina Epit, 33 years old a housewife is staying with her family of 3 children aged range 6 (Nicholas – kindy), 11 (Jessica-Pri 5), 12 yrs(Agnes Lily-Fr 1) old at the squatter house with no electricity near the Sg Apong river close behind the wet market.

Martina is suffering from gallstone problem. One of the stones was lodged in the bile duct causing her great discomfort and pain. She has 3 school going children. Her husband works as a painter and made about RM500+ per month. At the moment, he is out of work as he needs to recuperate from an eye operation. He will need further operation to his other eye soon. Martina herself will have a follow up visit with the doctor at the government clinic for her gallstone problem. At some point, she will need to go for surgery to remove the gallstone which is causing her much anguish.

Currently, Martina works on weekend at a restaurant at 3^rd mile to put food on the table for the family.

She is one of the food recipients of the mobile soup kitchen and could be contacted at mobile phone No: 016-873-5081. This family is going through much hardship and pray that the community could offer them some kind of help.

Suggesting more Useful things for Millie’s family:

(1) Tee Shirts and clothes for teenage girl and child girl. Story books, Bible, ball pens, pencil, pencil box for the girl. Toys for the child.

(2) Food stuff and household items

(3) Some pocket money for the school going kids.
