Good News! God is good all the time!
This morning at 9 am,
I was at the Church, I turned on the light,
YA, I FULLY AGREED WITH DANIEL, IT IS
BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT.
Peter and I were admiring the Divine Mercy Picture and the Light
this morning, in the Church.
We are very happy.... This is what Jesus wants, we just do what
we should do.
The DM Picture is in full view on the Right Side of the Church,
On the Left side, at the back, parishioners can only see the
rays because of the low ceilings.
Robert Kueh and Clare were there too, they too were very happy.
Jesus is ever ready to GIVE you his MERCY,
Come and experienced the COMFORT of the Merciful Lord.
Michael

So my friends,
Today’s DMD we will have DM Picture lighted up…
Here is the history of the picture and the light.
1/6/10 Uncle Christopher pulled up
one big, old, stained, scratched Divine Mercy Picture from under the
table just before I wanted to leave from his office in KL, in heavy rain with a
contracted taxi.
This DM Picture, together with 3 other DM pictures I brought
back from Singapore (one given by Peter Chang, 2 bought at the bookshop, these
3 are new and perfect.) All 4 were given to Fr Chin for him to choose, but Fr
Vincent Chin chose the big, old, stained, scratched one from KL , this
one is also Eileen and my choice…
The choice of the DM Picture reminded me of
Psalm
118:22 It was the stone rejected by the builders that proved to be the
keystone;
19/6/10 Just before the 3pm DMD, we sent the Picture to the best
Framing shop in town to get the pictures framed. My original idea was to take a
digital picture of the chosen picture, and print it on canvas so that we do not
need to use glass to frame (light weight, no reflections and better texture).
It was decided to scan the picture and print and hot laminate the Holy Picture,
it can last 200 years! OK agreed. Next week we brought the frame maker to the
Church to have a look at the environment and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour’s
frame so as to a choose frame matching to Our Lady’s, there isn’t much choice,
in fact only one from Italy. (Actually fr Chin’s original idea was to have a
frame with lightings incorporated inside the frame like the one we used for Our
Lady, but cannot find nowadays)
1/7/10 The Divine Mercy Pictures beautifully printed and framed,
exactly one month after we were given the holy picture. We took them back, next
day Friday we gave a pre-view to the people present during the DMD session. The
2 little boys came forward and prayed in front of the picture, even kissed
Jesus!
13/7/10 Fixed the DM Picture on the wall 10.30 in the morning. DMD 3pm,
fixed the Light at 6pm.
As for the light, the history is shorter, only one day:-
13/7/10 11 am went to the lighting shop, Daniel, Peter and Eileen and
Michael. Looked at the normal picture lights (usually we see them at hotels),
then we caught sight of this brand new LED picture light, next to it has a
number 3350 or something, I said to the shopkeeper “We like this light but
cannot afford it at RM3000+… where is Dennis (the owner)?”
Oh this is only the model no. the price… let me check, this
light just arrived and we have yet to fix the price!... ok it costs RM 300+, we
only have one, how many you want?
We only want one, we want to talk to Dennis.
He is not here, you can call him.
I pulled out my mobile, before I could make the call, Dennis
walked in the door (Thank you Fr Paang, you must have sent Dennis!)
Dennis this is Fr Chin brother Peter, we like this light…
Come Dennis, let me tell you something…. Fr chin said to give
you the honour to donate the light for the Divine Mercy Picture…
OK boy, take down the light, give me the bill, Fr chin will
settle it when he comes back from his holidays!
Now the shopkeeper said, we don’t talk about cost, we talk about
“KAM CHENG” – relationship !!!
Dennis said he has told his wife about the 3pm DMD and he will
go to the Church to have a look TOMORROW.
Now you know why Peter Chin MUST get the light fixed by
YESTERDAY…
If Dennis comes TODAY and don’t see the LIGHT, he might think
that we ……
And why I said in previous
messages that we “acquired” the LIGHT ….
OK lah, the next time you come to the daily 3pm DMD at St
Peter’s,
You will behold the beautiful Divine Mercy Picture illuminated
by the beautiful Light from above.
(in fact we were talking jokingly to shine 2 spot lights toward
the heart of Jesus, one red, one blue…
Ah, this is only wishful thinking, for the moment, this will do)
O MY GOD HOW I LOVE THEE.
