of Novices [Sister Callista [187]
] played a beautiful hymn about the mercy of God (Diary
1077) 1051-1100
[187] The Directress of Novitiate at the time was Sister Callista-Helen
Piekarczyk. Born March 30, 1900, she entered the Congregation in 1920. She
succeeded Sister Mary Joseph Brzoza as directress on
December 10, 1934, and continued until September 8, 1945. She died on September
11, 1947 (A. SMDM-C).
